Shelley Brown, an accomplished musician best known for her work as a bass player and singer in everything from bluegrass bands to electrified alt-country endeavors now puts her keen sense of timing to good use as a rhythm guitar player for the duo. Tamara Phelan, a prolific songwriter of exceptional talent, singer and reformed multi-instrumentalist plays the tenor guitar, giving the Song Sisters a clean simple sound that perfectly accentuates the vocal harmonies.
